He was predeceased by: his parents, Mario Facchini and Filomena Facchini (Flammia) of Peterborough; his wife Rhonda Facchini; his sons, Daniel and Adrian; and his father-in-law Paul St. Peter.

He is survived by: his daughter Danielle Huygens (Ernie) of Cambridge; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Lucas, Khloe and Heartly; his siblings, Tony of Toronto, Marcello (Fatima) of Toronto and Anna (Derick Dunn) of Peterborough; and his mother-in-law Barbara St. Peter of Cambridge.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
