It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Carter (Cambridge, Ontario), who passed away on December 20, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Laurie; his parents, William and Effie; his siblings, Lloyd, Joe and Anne; and his in-laws, Donna and Art Hewitt.
He is survived by: his sisters, Barb, Sue, Ruth and Muriel; his daughters, Kim Carter (Jay) and Angela Carter-Lovely (Jason); his grandsons, Owen Carter and Matthew Lovely; and his in-laws, Pat Carter, Ed Burr, Jack Tillison and Ross Dawson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Hespeler Presbyterian Church (73 Queen St E, Cambridge, ON N3C2A9). A reception will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion (26 Schofield St, Cambridge, ON N3C1Y3).
