She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Macaulay and Maggie Macaulay; her husband Robert Blake'Bob'Hearns; and her sisters, Irene Cook (late Earl) and Sheila Laws (late Glenn).
She is survived by: her children, David Hearns (Lynn), Joanne Whyte (Boyd), Barb Phillips (Ken), Bonnie White (Tom) and Ron Hearns (Julie); her brother Bob Macaulay (Sheila); and her sister-in-law Barbara Geen. She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made to Stirling Manor Nursing Home or the Alzheimer's Society of Ontario in Joan's memory.
