Leda Newman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 1, 2025, at the age of 88, Leda Newman (Campbellford, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her child Gwen Bush (Brad); her parents, Douglas Fox and Leda Fox; her brother Hugh Fox; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Kaye Fox and Wayne Newman.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Newman; her children, Calvin Newman (Tina), Rodney Newman and Janet Newman-Phillips (Peter); her grandchildren, Allison Paddon (Kelly), Sarah Thompson (Jeff), Kylie Spooner, Amy Newman, Cameron Bush and Jazlyn Bush; and her brother-in-law Sterling Newman (Karen). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St Paul's United Church (60 Main St, Warkworth, ON K0K3K0). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Stone Cemetery (4450 County Rd 25, Warkworth, ON K0K3K0). A reception will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the St Paul's United Church (60 Main St, Warkworth, ON K0K3K0).
Donations would be appreciated by the family to the Campbellford Memorial Hospital or Bridge Hospice.
