He is survived by: his wife Ruth Boers (Rumple); his children, MaryLou Lavelle of Milton, Stephen (Patricia) of Milton and Nicole (Rob Murfin) of South River; his grandchildren, Staci, Codey, Lauren, David, Michael and Timothy; and his siblings, Ries (Muriel) of Milton and Margaret (Colin Warner) of Monetville.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
