She was predeceased by: her mother Beverley. She is survived by: her husband Jim Chant; her father John Thorne; her siblings, Damon (Sheri) and Dustin (Suzanne); her parents-in-law, Eli and Frances Chant; and her sister-in-law Janet (Amy). She is also survived by her many aunts, uncles, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the Chant family invites those wishing to honour Dana's memory to donate to the CPES Dana Chant Memorial Fund, as they are planning a project in her name.
