It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Hoag (Capreol, Ontario), born in Sudbury, Ontario, who passed away on August 4, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Kaarina (Niemi); his parents, William Russel and Lucy (Young); and his sister Dorothy Lahti. He is survived by: his children, Rick (Kathy) of Capreol, Neil (Sheila) of Burlington and Brenda (Jim Trayner) of Capreol; his grandfather Poppa of Laurie; his great grandchildren, Sophie, Tessa and Timothy; and also, Trevor (Stephanie), Mallory (Holly), Russell, Grant and Kirk (Josee). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
