With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobbie Myers in Cardinal, Ontario, born in Danville, Virginia, who passed away on December 9, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Jim" Alfred Crews and Leota Crider Crews Overstreet; her husband Eugene; her children, William Keith Myers and Vickie Hyler; and her siblings, Betty Crews Cornell Wyles and Jimmy Lawrence Crews.
She is survived by: her son Steven E. Myers (Lisa) of Pelham, NC; her son-in-law Darrell Hyler of Providence, NC; her grandchildren, Joshua Hyler (Rachel), Zachary Hyler (Kristi), Allen Blackwell, Seth Blackwell, Bianca Myers (Hunter) and Elisabeth Duncan; her great grandchildren, Samuel (Gracie), Daniel (Rachel), Gracie, Faith, Joy, Melody, Jordan, Sarah Hyler, Kaleb, Nicholas Evans, Emily, Kaylee Blackwell and Nolan Diaz; her great great grandchildren, Emerson and Brynlee Hyler; and her sister-in-law Polly Hanks Crews. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Swicegood Funeral Chapel (564 W Main St, Danville, VA 24541). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lively Stones Baptist Church (2347 Chandler Mill Rd, Pelham, NC 27311).
