She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Laming and Lenora Laming; and her brothers, Ronald and Gerald Laming. She is survived by: her husband Gary Folkes; her children, Julie (Richard), Jason (Lisa), Shelley (Lou), Jamie (Natasha) and Ronnie (April); her siblings, Ray Laming, Margaret Leeder (Francis), Geraldine King (AL) and Elizabeth Knudson; her grandchildren, Jordan, Cole, Tyson, Abby, Gunner, Gauge, Ashley, Justin, Colby, Ava, Sara and Morgan; and her close friend Debbie Imrie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
