With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eva Heafey of Cardinal, Ontario, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Eva left this world on July 19, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Mike Heafey; her parents, John Dugan and Ada Dugan; her son Michael Heafey; and her siblings, Margaret Daw, Jim, Cecil, Bill and John Dugan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon McDonald (Garrie) of Johnstown and Brenda Brown (Scott) of Cardinal; her grandchildren, Mark, George (Alexis), Tammy (Jamie), Jonathon, Sarah and Dusty (Angellyn); her great grandchildren, Faith, William, Olivia, Henrick, Meaghan, Bronwyn, Sloane, Meredith and Remington; and her sister-in-law Lorraine Dugan of Cornwall. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (549 Middle St, Cardinal, ON K0E1E0).
