Leo Evason Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leo Evason (Cardinal, Ontario), born in Brandon, Manitoba, who passed away on December 1, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Evasiuk and Maria Evasiuk (Stefaniuk); his brothers, Yourko, Meraslaw, Orest and Volodimyr; and his close friend Lily Miller. He was also cherished by family members, including a niece and grand-niece.
The funeral will be small and private given the pandemic situation; but in lieu of visits or flowers, donations can be made to the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre in Etobicoke.
We encourage those that are unable to attend in person to express their sympathy by posting a message of condolence to our website, donating to a charity of your choice in memory of your loved one or by sending flowers to the funeral home.".
