He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Owers; his parents, Art Owers and Mae Owers; and his siblings, Patricia Ferguson, Barbara McGrady, Donald Owers and Bernie Owers.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Sullivan (late Dean Sullivan) and Robert Owers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
