Verna Mary Margaret (Arcand) Simzer Obituary

We bid farewell to Verna Mary Margaret (Arcand) Simzer of Cardinal, Ontario, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 27, 2025 at the age of 88. Verna Mary Margaret touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Lyle Simzer; her close friend Eddie Clifford; her grandchildren, Christopher, Shawn (Lauren), Michael (Melissa) and Kevin; her great grandchildren, Sophie, Noah, Annaka, Calvin and Bennett; her parents, Leona Arcand and Elgin Arcand; and her siblings, Mary Lou Andrews (late Ross) and Bobby Arcand.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Weatherall (David), Teresa Workman (Rick), Garry Simzer and Ronnie Simzer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Byers Funeral Home (2990 Church St, South Mountain, ON K0E1W0). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel.
