She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dunn and Claire Dunn; and her husband Howard Kurt Spinney. She is survived by: her daughters, Kristine Robertson (James) and Elaine Spinney; her grandchildren, Andrew Joy (Chelsea), Bailey Joy (Alexis), Kallie Lowe and Mitchel Lowe; and her great grandchildren, Owen Joy, Kayden Joy and Ryatt Joy.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Notre-Dame Cemetery (455 Montréal Rd, Ottawa, ON K1K0V3).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's Parish Carleton Place in Doreen's memory.
