It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jantinus Kuipers (Carrying Place, Ontario), who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Edward Kuipers; his great grandchildren, Summer and Chloe Koopmans; his parents, Hendrik Kuipers and Jantina Kuipers; his brothers, John, Henry (Diane) and Bill; and his brothers-in-law, Henry Postma and Jim Postma.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Kuipers; his children, Henry Kuipers, Annette van Gilst (Jan), Jean Koets (Richard), Christine Clitherow (Carl) and Cynthia Koopmans (Jon); his grandchildren, Daniel (Ashley), Amanda (Shaun), Victoria (Phillip), Sebastian (Tara), Isaac, Eric (Mandi), Alexander (Kate), Kevin (Emily), Melissa (Remi), Lindsay, Jenna (Luke), Lucy and Caroline; his sister Alice Suurdt; and his siblings-in-law, Elsie Kuipers, Marion Kuipers (Rex), John Postma (Lee), Tom Postma (Ann), Evelyn Rinsma (Klaas) and Barbara Horsley (Dale). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM and at 12:00 PM at the Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church (18 Fourth Ave, Quinte West, ON K8V5N3). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Carrying Place Cemetery (22014 Loyalist Pkwy, Carrying Place, ON K0K1L0). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church (18 Fourth Ave, Quinte West, ON K8V5N3).
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
