He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Ralph Bain and Josephine Bain; his former life partner Marie Cormack; his children, Paul (Coralee), Ann Turnbull (Larry), Lisa Knapik (Karl), Linda and John; his grandchildren, John Proctor (Dianna), Rachel, Leah, Max Turnbull, Colin, Marek Knapik, Olivia Bain and Xander Bain; and his wife Annie McKeown.
