He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ingrid Van Criekingen; his children, Marieke Van Criekingen (Peter Johnston-Berresford), Lieze McColm (Darren), Jane Van Criekingen (Claude-Eric Lafrance), Sara Thomas (Matt), Anna Van Criekingen (Peter Fudge) and Kate Van Criekingen (Josh Hepworth); his grandchildren, Owen, Will, Ryan, Morgayne, Lyndon, Rosalie, Nora, Rowan and Maeve; his parents, Maria Filomena Van Criekingen and Jules Alfons Van Criekingen; and his brothers, Herman, Roland (Hilde), Griet, Peter and Bart (Christa). He was also cherished by his nephews, nieces, cousins, friends.
