He was predeceased by: his wife Jacqueline Génier; his son Denis Génier; and his parents, Toussaint Génier and Marie Génier. He is survived by: his children, Robert Génier (Josée Boily), Donald Génier (Lisette) and Stephane Génier (Kathleen); his grandchildren, Saralyn Génier (Mathieu Cumming), Joel Génier (Josée Sweeney), Alex Génier, Irena Génier and Alexana Génier; his great grandchild Valerie Génier; his sister Lorraine; his sister-in-law Jeannine; and his siblings, Noëlla, Yvette, Thérèse, Gertrude, Jean-Louis and Rénald. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
