He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Desmond and Anna Marie Desmond; and his brother Donald Desmond. He is survived by: his children, Maryanne Barrett (Ryan Barrett), William Desmond, Daniel Desmond (Jessica Desmond) and Christopher Desmond (Miranda Desmond); his grandchildren, William, Eli Barrett, Olivia, Briella Desmond and Connor Desmond; and his siblings, Diane Rosenfield, Paul Desmond, Gerard Desmond and Charles Desmond. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
