She was predeceased by: her husband Hugh Slimon; and her sisters, Dorothy and Evelyn. She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca, Laura (Michael) and Sarah (Dean); her grandchildren, Michael, Rachael, Stuart, Anne-Sophie (John), Sam and David (Breanna); and her sister Marie Fuller. She is also survived by Mom and Dad raised their family in Cayuga where Dad.

In her final years mom battled Alzheimer's and lived at Highgate Retirement Residence in Ancaster.
