He was predeceased by: his sister Phyllis (Ken Chute); his siblings-in-law, William Dixon and Bev Skinner; his parents, Francis Hern and Mary Hern (Hunter); and his parents-in-law, Keith and Hazel Weber (Williams).
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hern (Weber); his children, Heather Hern, Scott, Regan Hern, Jeremy and Lorianne Hern; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Will, Grace, Ivy, Zoey, Zach, Bentley, David and Xayden; and his siblings, Marilyn Dixon, Elaine Skinner, Perla (Gerry Tarsitano) and Joyce Weber. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Haskett Funeral Home (456 Main St S, Exeter, ON N0M1S6).
Donations to London Health Sciences Foundation – Cardiac Program, Jessica's House Hospice, South Huron Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice in Ed's memory would be appreciated by the family.
