He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Wellington and Ruth Wellington; his wife Darlene Robertson; his sister Margaret (late Gerald Johnson); his children, Carrie Formosa (Mario) of Charing Cross, ON, Sharon Pengelly (Bill) and Rodney Wellington; and his grandchildren, Colleen (Chris), Ian (Stacie) and Corrina (Roland).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McKinlay Funeral Home - Chatham (459 St Clair St, Chatham, ON N7L3K6). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the Maple Leaf Cemetery (75 Maple Leaf Dr, Charing Cross, ON N0P1G0).
Donations made in memory of Robert to the Alzheimer Society of Chatham Kent would be appreciated by the family.
