He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Cunningham and Jean Cunningham; his parents-in-law, Doug and Bertha Wright; his wife Janet; his siblings-in-law, Lesa Jansen (Henry), Lori Collins (Dan), Lloyd Wright (Michele), Dennis Blommaert (Jackie) and Jeff Minchin (Sue); and his nephew David Cunnigham.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Rice (Mike), Heather Cunningham, Mike Cunningham (Jocelyn) and Erica Girimonte (Rob); his grandchildren, Madison, Sara and Audrey; his siblings, Gloria Cunningham and Jim Cunningham (Judy); and his siblings' children, Samantha Cunningham (Addi), Vicki Kirschner (Julian), Alison Woodroffe (Jay), Ashley Woodroffe-McClintock (Chad), Emily Minchin, Joe Minchin, Doug Jansen (Melissa), Craig Jansen (Natalie), Bryanna Alexander and Lea Wright.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 29th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home (245 Wellington St W, Chatham, ON N7M1J9). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
