He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy McGaffey and Barbara McGaffey; his children, Doug and Judy; and his brother Glen McGaffey (Pug).

He is survived by: his wife Helen McGaffey; his children, Aron McGaffey (Jackie), Lana Charron (Rick), Murna Myers (Ken), Glenda Gerow and Norine Nantais (Fred); and his siblings, Art McGaffey, Betty Horst and Barbara Ann Osterhout. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has mandated that everyone attending must wear a mask.
