It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Edmund Richard McGaffey of Chatham, Ontario, born in Bothwell, Ontario, who passed away on February 12, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy McGaffey and Barbara McGaffey; his children, Doug and Judy; and his brother Glen McGaffey (Pug).

He is survived by: his wife Helen McGaffey; his children, Aron McGaffey (Jackie), Lana Charron (Rick), Murna Myers (Ken), Glenda Gerow and Norine Nantais (Fred); and his siblings, Art McGaffey, Betty Horst and Barbara Ann Osterhout. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has mandated that everyone attending must wear a mask.
