She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Benoit and Beulah Benoit (Griffore); her daughter Lisa Anne; and her siblings, Omer Benoit, Donald Benoit and Bernice.

She is survived by: her husband Peter Van De Hogen; her son Jason Van De (Elaine); her grandchildren, Ian and Emily; and her siblings, Doreen Alexander (late Donald), Edward Fiala, Diane Myers (late Robert), Leo Benoit (late Florence Benoit), Jeannette Fiala (late Frank), Roland, Connie Benoit, Lucille and Jean Laprise. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
