He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Losonsky and Zophia Losonsky; his sons, Richard Losonsky (Linda), William Smith and Michael Smith; his brothers, Stephen Losonsky and Joseph Losonsky (Marg); and his siblings-in-law, Gayle Van Hooste (Murray) and James Marriott (Ruth).

He is survived by: his children, Joan Prentice (late Barry), Robert Smith (Diana), Kenneth Smith (Shelley) and Darcy Smith (Mari-Lynn); his grandchildren, Amanda (Rick), Brittany (Waren), Natasha (Robert), Kyle, Brady (Stephanie), Lily (Alex), Lizzy (Ryan), Emma, Courtney and Craig (Courtney); his great grandchildren, Rowan, Ryder, Kelton and Daxton; his sibling Vandalin Losonsky; his siblings-in-law, Janice Pumphrey (Art), Kathryn Triebner-Kuipers (Andy), Anne Cormier Judy (late Eric), Joan Moody (Mike), Bruce Marriott and Brian Mariott; and his friend Rick Jamrozinski. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family.
