He is survived by: his spouse Felisbina Rosa Elias (Felix); his children, Maria Isabel Elias, Umbelina Elias (Steve Gregetz), Ana Maria Sayler (Robert), Abel Elias (Elizabeth D'Agostino) and Joe Elias (Ania); his great grandchild Bianca Borges; his siblings, Maria DeCastro (late Manuel) and Jose Elias; his nephew Carlos Coelho (Gracinda); and his sibling-in-law Gracinda Ferreira (Antonio).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hinnegan Peseski Funeral Home (156 William St S, Chatham, ON N7M4S8). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ursula's Church (205 Tweedsmuir Ave W, Chatham, ON N7M5N8). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Anthony's Cemetery.
