He was predeceased by: his parents, William Butler and Hilda Butler; and his wife Phyllis Butler. He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Duggal; his grandchildren, DeAndre Duggal and Garet Duggal; and his siblings, Doris Ridley, Robert Butler, Isabel Boltic and Eric Butler. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
