He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Grant Kluey and Helen Kluey; his close friend Barbara Hopkins; his children, Teresa Kluey (Bob Sampson), Melissa Kluey (Shawn Lane) and James Kluey; his grandchildren, Ken Prentice, Connor Prentice, Lucas Sampson, Mike Sampson, Jaeden McLeod, Jahcoba McLeod, Shannon Lane, Katrina Lane, Trinity Lane and Alex Lane; and his brothers, David Kluey (Janice Fanning) and Sean Kluey.
