He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Oliveira and José Oliveira; and his siblings, Celeste (Bernardino), Dorinda (Savino) and Cesar (Margarita).

He is survived by: his spouse Otilde (José) of Oliveira; his children, Richard (Maddie) of Oliveira and Sonia of Oliveira; and his grandchild Alexis of Oliveira. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
