It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Darby (Chatham, Ontario), born in Sarnia, Ontario, who passed away on March 11, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Darby to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Smythe and Charlotte Smythe (Rose); her sons, Larry Smallbridge and Ron Smallbridge; her grandchild Katie Darby; her siblings, Jean Dillon, Bernard Smythe (late Marion), Margery Ford (late Jack) and Fred Smythe; and her sibling-in-law Marlyn Darby.

She is survived by: her children, Lucy Anne Knight (Robert) of Chatham and Rosemary Bellemore (late Joseph) of Calgary; her stepchildren, Dennis Darby (Martha) of Toronto and Peter Darby (Janet) of Hamilton; her child-in-law Janine Darby; her grandchildren, Teresa Scherer (Scott), Rob Knight (Lisa), Mike Knight (Angie), Dan Knight, Nicholas Bellemore (Lyndsay), Lee Bellemore (Christine), Andrew Darby, Christina Darby, Angelica Darby, Cassandra Darby and Rebecca Darby; and her sibling-in-law Kent Darby (Sandy) of Sarnia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
