The passing of Betty Nicholson (Chatham, Ontario) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 15, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Betty is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Betty's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Margaret Rapley and Dennis Rapley; her husband Clarence Nicholson; her brother William Rapley (Bill); and her children, Cherie Willis, Margo Middelkamp (Jake), Shelagh Lawes (Steve), Dan Nicholson (Karen) and Jill Hunter (John). She was also cherished by her 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Community of Christ Church (174 Faubert Dr, Chatham, ON N7M2Y4).
