Betty Somr Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Somr of Chatham, Ontario, who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Eastcott and Mildred Fletcher (Wills); her spouse Jerry Somr; her children, Geri, Stephen, Paul (Norma) and Jim (Debra); her grandson Sam Cote; and her brothers, Bill Eastcott (Theresa) and Fred Eastcott (late Paulette).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Andela, Jolene, Rose Hoekstra (Steven), Michelle (Jolson), John, Emily Francis (Doug), Randi, Ainsley (Drew) and Ryker; and her siblings, Pat Eastcott (Lynn), Mike Eastcott (Yvette), Stuart Fletcher (Geri), Thomas Fletcher (Cathy), William Hargin, Mary (Eastcott), Snary (Jim), Gail (Eastcott), Johnston (late Ron) and Lane (Jim). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
