She was predeceased by: her parent John McClellan; her spouse John William Thorpe; her stepchildren, Paul Cowan and Mark Cowan; her stepgrandchild Todd; her siblings, Ross Fisher, Bertha, Ada and Carol McClellan; her siblings-in-law, Henry and Bill; and also Louis Samuel Cowan.

She is survived by: her parent Mabel McClellan; her children, Kaye, Fred Lee of Ridgetown, David and Diane Thorpe of Calgary; her stepchildren, Mary Cowan and Parry Cowan; her grandchildren, Jason Thorpe (Carrie), Kathryn Thorpe and Darcy Thorpe (Candice); her stepgrandchildren, Mark (Carolyn), Jeffery (Sara), Jonathon (Jennifer), Chad (Dawn), Michelle, Sean and Greg (Ann); her great grandchildren, Ryan Thorpe and Michael Thorpe; her siblings, Alta, John, Marie McClellan, Charlie Eastcott and Bill Brown; and her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Prout and Madeline Mason. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
