He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Moon and Margaret Moon; and his wife Joyce Moon. He is survived by: his children, Carrie Renaud (Shawn) and Ryan W. Moon (Stephanie Lapierre); and his grandchildren, Hannah Renaud, Mitchell Renaud, Alexandre Moon and William Moon. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McKinlay Funeral Home - Chatham (459 St Clair St, Chatham, ON N7L3K6). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
