He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Filby and Jean Filby; and his girlfriend Lorette Jackson. He is survived by: his children, Matt Filby (Sara), Vince Filby (Seema Madhvani), Liz Filby and Robert Filby; his grandchildren, Charlotte, Gemma, Bradley and Annika Filby-Madhvani; and his brother Jack Filby (Carol). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McKinlay Funeral Home - Chatham (459 St Clair St, Chatham, ON N7L3K6). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location.
Donations made in memory of Bob to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
