He was predeceased by: his spouse Isabella Smrcka (MacDonald); and his parent Zdenka Smrcka. He is survived by: his parent Jaroslav Smrcka; his children, Denise Brophy (Gary) of Charing Cross, Tracy Fenner (Jay) of Lighthouse Cove and Jeff Smrcka (Petra) of Vittoria; his grandchildren, Sean Brophy, Kayla Willemsen (Zach) and Danielle Renaud (John); his great grandchild Xander James Renaud; and his brother Jerry Smrcka (Pat) of Barrie.

Donations to the Chatham Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
