He was predeceased by: his parents, Abram Schoon and Emke Schoon (Bandringa); and his siblings, Art Bisschop (Audrey), John Bisschop, Harm Bisschop (Annie), Henry Bisschop (Rita), Ralph and Helen Bisschop.
He is survived by: his spouse Henny (Bisschop); his children, David, Brian, Linda and Paul Schoon (Naomi); his grandchildren, Ariella, Adrian and Ava; and his siblings, Jellie (late Theo), Gommans (The Netherlands), Peter (Dorothy), Emmie (late Arend), Otten (The Netherlands), Jessie Timmerman (late Case), Hilbert Bisschop, Bill Bisschop (late June), Glenda King (late Jim), Al Bisschop (Audrey), Tim Bisschop (Cathy) and Nancy Vandermeer (Bill). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
