She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Marshall Damme and Helena Van Damme; her significant other Maurice Laevens; her children, Christine Godts (Michael), Colette Atkinson (Stuart), Stephen Laevens (Carla), Gary Laevens (Phommavanh) and Sandra Daniels (Gregory); her grandchildren, Kurtis (Mackenzie), Megan, Ethan, Brendan Godts, Cassidy, Tyler, Kyle Atkinson, Matthew (Meghan), Grace, James Laevens, Jonathan, Emily Goncalo, Nicholas Rodrigues, Thomas, Isabella, Luke Laevens, Elliott and Abby Daniels; her great grandchild Andre Godts; and her siblings, Marcia Janssens (George), John Van Damme (Mary), Judy Roy (Roger Lesy), Sandra Schepens (Eugene), Kenneth Van Damme (Louise), Jane DeGoey (John), Gerard Laevens (Yvonne), Marguerite Dubeau (late Alfred) and Henry Laevens (late Marjorie).
