She was predeceased by: her parents, John Young and Mary Young of Rutherglen, Scotland.; her husband Dr. David Evans; her sister Jennifer Mackie; and her brother-in-law John Riley.

She is survived by: her children, David, Jane (Scott), Alan, Michael (Allison), Gordon (Stacey), Andrew and Jennifer Evans; her grandchildren, Cody, Brooklyn, Caroline, Samantha, Molly, Michael, Allison, Denis, Aidan, Euan, Callum, Gillian, Kelton, Rylan, Cameron, Lachlan and David; her sister Mary-Margaret Riley; and her brother-in-law Dr. Bill Mackie.
