She was predeceased by: her parents, Joaquim Moreira and Joaquina Cerqueria; and her sister Cecilia. She is survived by: her children, Joe De Sousa (Sheelagh), Regina Jorge (Rute), Connie Veiga (Antonio) and George De Sousa; and her goddaughter Maria Celeste DaSilva.
