He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Brown and Grace Brown; his wife Ena; his siblings, Harold Brown, Frank Brown, Anna Kinny, Arthur Brown, Margaret Hornick and Mary Fleming; and his daughter-in-law Shirley Brown.

He is survived by : his children, Douglas Brown (Lynne Hume), Phillip Brown (Brenda), Lynette Wellman (Barry) and Beverly Brown (Susan); and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Corriveau (Steve), Andrew Brown, Buffy Baker (Bernie), Mark Brown, Justin Tricker (Tara), Ryan Tricker, Jennilyn Matthys (Mark), Todd Wellman (Tara), Tara Labonte (Starsky), Brandon Brown (Diana), Corey Brown and Kendra Meyer (Jesse). He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
