It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Chuck Skipper of Chatham, Ontario, who passed away on May 26, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Skipper Sr. and Chloe Skipper (Thorn) of Surlingham Farm; his siblings, William Skipper (Joan), Enyd Forrest (Rod), Robert Skipper (Barb) and Jim Skipper (Dorothy); his brother-in-law Dr. Robert Holmes (Isabel); and his cousins, Art and Arlene Shields.
He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Elizabeth Skipper (Holmes); his children, Terry Skipper (Janet) of Chatham, Lynn Novacco (Mario) of Fletcher, Peggy Skipper of Chatham, Danny Skipper Nelles (Cheryl) of Chatham, Erin Blackwell of Chatham and Heather Wilcox (Tim) of Petrolia; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Hunter (Mike), Jessica Skipper Samson (Julien), Derrick Novacco, Brandon Novacco, Jared Novacco Assuncaio (Jen), Cassie McLeod (Andrew), Chris Bourne, Shae-Lynn Bourne-Turok (Bohdan), Calea Souter (Kevin), Sean Bourne (Vivian), Jodi Skipper Mackenzie (Rick), Danny (DJ), Skipper Wallace (Erin), Chelsea Horvath (Aaron), Paige Skipper Meriano (Isaac), Whitney Hannaford (Andrew), Colby Calvert (Ken), Taylor Nguyen (Steve), Shana Wilcox Frostad (Ryan) and Ashley Bogaert (Tynan). He is also survived by his family with Bev and their 6 children, 19 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McKinlay Funeral Home (459 St Clair St, Chatham, ON N7L3K6). A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Stewart Cemetery (4789 Middle Line, Merlin, ON N0P1W0).
