Clara Cartier Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Cartier (Chatham, Ontario), born in Grande Pointe, Ontario, who passed away on July 24, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Amanda Benoit (Pinsonneault); her husband Jacob Cartier; and her siblings, Marie Jeanne Bechard (Aurele), Lionel Benoit (Jeannette) and Joseph Benoit (Gloria).
She is survived by: her children, Jacques Cartier (Ha), Jean Cartier (Karen), Carmel Marentette (Clyde), Jeanne and Arc Bradley (Dean); her grandchildren, Nicole (Cameron), Christopher (Sylvie), Louise (Randy), David (Claire), Sarah, Jim (Marissa), Amanda and Sam (Lanki); her great grandchildren, Carson, Emmett, Paisley, Lucas, Asher, Logan, Carter and Amelia; her sisters, Anna Benoit (Donald) and Angeline Rivard (Wilfrid); and her sister-in-law Helene Cartier (Raymond).
Up until the pandemic, she could always be found at the Active Lifestyle Centre every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons playing Pepper and Rummoli.
