He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Evelien Wiersma (Van Der Velde); his daughter Joeline Van Kesteren (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Jesse, Kara Van (Ronald) of Bruinhorst, Nadia, Emma, Julia, Calvin, Alyssa, Tessa, Ava and Joseph; his great grandchildren, Affie and Elaina; his daughter Chandra Benner (Dusty); his grandchildren, Konrad, Tiernan, Traeton, Aidrea and Avirly; his daughter Jenica Van Kesteren (Dan); his grandchildren, Asher, Tasha, Adrian, Aaron, Adelynn, Samuel, Anne and Alida; his son Kellen Wiersma (Meghan); his grandchildren, Adelaide, Lukas and Noelle; his parents, Klaas Wiersma and Teddy Wiersma; and his siblings, Jeffrey (Laura) and Cindy McDougall (Robert). He was also cherished by his 4 children (and spouses), 26 grandchildren (and spouse) and 2 great-grandchildren.
