She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie-Laure Trudel (Desalliers) and Marcel Trudel; and her siblings, Georgette St (Paul) and Paul Trudel (Stella). She is survived by: her husband Patrick Lavergne; her children, Gina Gobbi (Mike) and Steven Lavergne (Amelia); her grandchildren, Leland and Samantha; and her nieces, Céline Desjardins (Marcel), Louise St-Denis (Philippe) and Niki (Gordon Brodie). She is also survived by her family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated in Colette's memory.
