Craig Spence Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 16, 2024, Craig Spence (Chatham, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the echoes of fond remembrance, may we find a sense of peace, knowing that the memories we hold dear will continue to shape and inspire us, keeping Craig's spirit alive in our hearts and actions. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness we show others and the joy we find in the ordinary moments of life.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Tracey Secord (Shadd Smith) of Chatham and Brendan Spence (Janee O'Donohue) of Chatham; and his girlfriend Halle Machado. He was also cherished by his aunts, uncles, cousins.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home (245 Wellington St W, Chatham, ON N7M1J9). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church (180 Wellington St W, Chatham, ON N7M5K4).

In lieu of flowers, friends and family are respectfully asked to consider a donation to the Craig Spence Memorial Scholarship Fund helping support worthy individuals and associations in athletics and academics. Donations can be made through an electronic transfer of funds via email at [email protected].
