He was predeceased by: his parents, Duncan Hubert and Mary Jane McIntyre Patterson (Jean); and his siblings, Duncan, Doris and Margaret.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Renier; his children, Mary Jane, Scott (Lynn), David (Karney), Michael (Paddy) and Tim (Helen); and his grandchildren, Caroline, Thomas, William, Samuel, Katelyn and Cullen.
