She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Shanks; her child Stacey Shanks; and her siblings, Marie Bechard, Cheryl Ann Fenton, Wayne and Bryan Fenton.
She is survived by: her children, Sidney Shanks (Michelle) of Brisbane and Tina Cleland (Steven) of Dresden; her grandchildren, Joseph, Henry, Finley, Oliver, Mathilda Shanks, McKenzie and Alex Cleland; and her siblings, Ruth Cooper, Garry Fenton, Keith Fenton and Sandra Benoit-Verkaik.
